A practical starting point for organizing the many details involved in moving to California.

A More Personal Way to Prepare for Your Move

This checklist helps you map out your move from the first planning decisions through the tasks that come just before departure. It brings key considerations into one clear resource, making it easier to see what needs attention and what can wait. The guidance is designed to support real planning, not an idealized version of relocation.

Use it to create a timeline that fits your situation, review important preparation areas, and keep track of progress as plans develop. The resource is especially helpful when you are balancing housing research, logistics, finances, and everyday responsibilities at the same time.
